I am Janet the founder of 'Love is Corfu Weddings'. My entire life has revolved around all things artistic. I started my working life in Visual Merchandising in London, working for top fashion brands H&M, Next & Monsoon , so an eye for detail and creativity was a very important skill in this profession enabling me to transfer these skills to meticulously plan your special day. My love of portrait & fashion photography naturally led me into wedding photography here in Corfu on this beautiful, lush green Ionian Island. l have lived here since 2006 and with my work as a wedding photographer l have gained a great deal of experience and knowledge of all services connected to weddings in Corfu and understand the absolute importance of getting your day totally perfect. Several times over the past years the couples l have photographed have commented that l have added more value than a standard photographer and l should be a wedding planner and so my new journey began. I totally understand the whole wedding day planning process and l am fully aware of everything that’s going on, keeping me one step ahead to ensure perfection on your special day. My passion is to interpret the couple's ideal wedding day, here in Corfu. Our island offers so many amazing locations with all budgets and preferences catered for. The choice is endless, from beautiful seafront tavernas and bars offering traditional Greek Cuisine and international sought after dishes, lush green vineyards, timeless olive groves, sea grottos and glorious beaches, romantic beachfront villas, historical buildings like Corfu Town Hall built in 1663 with its baroque statues and incredible architecture, mythical array of Palaces with captivating facades and culture, the infamous Liston boasting grand marble columns testimony to exquisite Venetian architecture, Kaiser’s Throne with the amazing jaw-dropping backdrops and a 360 degree view of Corfu itself, remarkable green mountainous ranges with breath-taking sea views, enchanting magical gardens all offering a unique bespoke unforgettable place to hold your ceremony. Corfu really can’t be beaten, there is something for everyone. Planning a wedding can be daunting at the best of times but deciding to get married abroad can be a logistical nightmare, however, with someone who lives on the island and speaks your language, I am able to take all the stress out of the whole wedding planning process, leaving you time to enjoy the build up and the special day, making it a memorable wedding day for all the right reasons.
