Coming all the way from down under, I knew that this day was going to be incredibly special. With countless emails and phone calls to and from, I wanted to be sure to harness and use all my special powers to bring Kim and James' dream visions to life for their dream destination wedding here in Corfu Island, Greece.
*Disclaimer: I don't harness any real magic powers, although I do have a few tricks up my sleeves to help things along for our special day!
Truthfully, the more communication we have and the more info and details you can give me about all your hopes and dreams for your special day, the easier it will be for me to provide my local knowledge and prep the perfect dream team to play out their roles for your wedding.

Before we get into Kim and Jame's special day, my first task was to arrange a pre-wedding boat trip, giving the guests a chance to soak in Corfu’s stunning coastline as a build up to this incredible day. From crystal-clear waters to breathtaking mountainous views, this was a magical way to kick off the wedding festivities. We made sure all dietary needs were met, providing delicious food and drinks so that everyone could relax and enjoy the experience, and sorted out and arranged all the logistics so there was no sweat or duties for Kim and James - just to relax and have fun!
And now onto the most beautiful and lush day...
After arranging transfers from Corfu town for some of the guests, I personally oversaw their arrivals and their departures. It's really the little things that make the biggest difference! Reliable transportation is key for a stress-free destination wedding, allowing guests to fully enjoy the celebration without worrying about logistics.
Kim dreamed of pure white romance for her day, and to be surrounded by not only lush tropical greenery, but also a sea landscape view for the ceremony. This was my first task for the day; one or the other? No sweat. But a combination of both?! 😅
However, remember those tricks I mentioned I have up my sleeve...?!
I have known about this luxurious villa for a while now in my years living as an experienced wedding planner here on Corfu island in Greece, and I had a feeling that it would be perfect to bring Kim and James vision to life. And of course they immediately fell in love, and loved the fact that it gave a little nod to their lovely Aussie home!!
Tripling as accommodation for up to 10 people, the ceremony location and the reception venue, this location was perfect for this special day.
Kim wanted a minimalistic flurry of white florals with some greenery intertwined, with a splash of pink incorporated into her stunning bouquet, and my highly recommended florist smashed this out of the waters as always.
Here at LoveisCorfuWeddings, we also like to save you the trouble of bringing any little bits and bobs for your special day in your suitcase, and so you are also able to hire out anything you may need! For Kim and James, this meant hiring luxury gold rimmed frames and white easels for their wedding signage that I had printed here, and hessian table runners to compliment the jam jar tea lights I decorated their tables with. The people pleaser in me is swooning!
For a romantic and enchanting touch to the evening, I lined the pool with tea-lights in paper bags, creating a warm, flickering glow that reflected beautifully on the water. This simple, cost cutting yet elegant detail really added to the magical ambiance of this Corfu wedding; perfect for balmy Greek island evenings.
Kim and James' wanted a beautifully simple yet elegant carrot cake, and my dream team's incredible cake maker designed, baked and handcrafted the perfect cake, flawlessly suited to the couple’s luxurious style. A delicious wedding cake is the sweetest way to end the evening, and together we endeavour to ensure that every couple gets a dessert that reflects and compliments the day to the T.
To wrap up the end of this beautiful day, Kim and James wanted their guests to have a blast with bubbles, so I organised basket of bubbles bottles to be shared amongst everyone, and they went down a treat! Our incredible DJ then finished off the night with his hot hits, and the guests partied into the night.
