I really can't hide my sheer excitement when I suggest a venue that a couple absolutely falls in love with immediately, and this was exactly the case for Inessa & Paul. As soon as we began speaking together, I knew that the stunning Oliva was the perfect setting for their dream wedding here in Corfu, and as soon as they saw the location and venue... well, it was love at first sight for them!

One of the beautiful things about wedding planning is working closely with couples to find the perfect suppliers to bring their dream vision to life for their special day. Of course we're always happy to work with a couple's preferred suppliers, and I think it's so important for planners to work seamlessly with a couple's chosen supplier and make every aspect as easy as possible; every wedding is different, and it's all about finding the right balance to make sure the day reflects the people at the heart of it. Inessa had her heart set on working with a particular supplier based on the Greek mainland for the flowers, signage and lighting, so we connected them and worked closely together throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself.

There is always something so special about those moments before a ceremony begins. Guests arrive, everyone finds their seats, and there's that lovely little feeling of anticipation as the day gets underway. After months of planning, seeing everything come together is one of the most rewarding parts of our job. And naturally, we wanted the celebrations to begin in style! We arranged a champagne tower for the couple, adding a touch of glamour and creating a lovely moment for everyone to gather around and raise a glass.

We provided the celebrant services and ceremony chairs, helping to create a welcoming setting for Inessa & Paul to exchange their vows surrounded by their loved ones, amongst the beautiful floral details.

For the entertainment, we arranged a saxophone player and worked alongside Inessa & Paul's preferred DJ to bring their plans together. Live sax alongside a DJ is such a lovely combination for a destination wedding in Greece, adding that extra energy to the celebrations as everyone settles into the evening.

It's those little touches that help create the atmosphere of a wedding — the music, the laughter, the little details such as handing out the parasols to the guests, the name cards and table decors, wedding favours and ouzo shots. It's these tiny details that brings everyone coming together to celebrate two people they love such a magical experience for all.

Of course we couldn't help but suggest a champagne tower, of which Inessa & Paul absolutely LOVED! Such a classy touch for a wedding day, and brings in a little fun as the reception rolls into the evening celebrations.

We also arranged the late night transport for the guests as we'll, making sure they arrived safely back to their Greek holiday homes safely and soundly after all the celebrations. It's one of those behind-the-scenes jobs that makes such a difference, particularly when guests are travelling to Corfu for a destination wedding. And trust me, after years of growing up navigating the heart of West London, I sure do appreciate a good transport plan! Some things follow you wherever you go, don't they?!

From suggesting Oliva as the perfect venue to connecting Inessa with her preferred mainland supplier, coordinating the ceremony, arranging the champagne tower and saxophone player, working with their chosen DJ and organising onward transport, we were delighted to help bring our couple's vision to life.

Wedding planning is always a collaboration, and we feel so lucky to work with couples who trust us to help make their ideas happen.
