A luxury May wedding at the Ekaterini Estate

Destination weddings in Corfu means the excitement starts building long before the wedding day itself, with family and friends travelling from all over the world to celebrate together on our beautiful little Greek island. And I must say, the excitement extended to my own thrill of organising a wedding at this absolutely iconic venue here on Corfu Island! Jasmine & Calum's wedding at the stunning Ekaterini Estate, Corfu, was an incredible day filled with laughter, wonderful people, beautiful details, and one very full dance floor by the end of the evening!

From our very first conversations together, it was clear that Jasmine & Calum had poured so much love into planning different ideas for their wedding. They had personally sourced many of their own suppliers, each one carefully chosen to reflect the style and atmosphere they wanted for their day. I absolutely love it when couples bring their own ideas to the table, because no two destination weddings in Corfu should ever feel the same.

As a wedding planner based here in Corfu, my role on the day was to bring all of those wonderful suppliers together and make sure everything flowed effortlessly from one moment to the next. When you have a larger wedding with lots of moving parts, it isn't about changing the couple's plans — it's about making sure they can completely switch off, soak up every second, and simply enjoy being surrounded by the people they love most.

The day began bright and early (and I do mean bright and early... thank goodness for Greek coffee!) as we welcomed suppliers, coordinated arrivals, and prepared every little detail before guests began making their way to the beautiful estate. The hair and makeup team began at 6am!

This was our dream team's first full day wedding here at the glorious Ekaterini Estate, and I must say it did not disappoint! It's actually really local to my home village here on the island, and I've been so excited to organise a beautiful wedding day here, simply because of how stunning this venue truly is!

I suggested adding a beautiful white aisle carpet for the ceremony entrance. Sometimes the simplest additions create the biggest impact, and it looked absolutely beautiful leading Jasmine towards Calum against the stunning surroundings of the estate. Elegant, timeless, and exactly the finishing touch the ceremony deserved.

Flowers are always one of my favourite parts of any wedding, and I was so excited to recommend a florist whose style felt like the perfect match for Jasmine's vision. Rather than choosing one of the more mainstream florists, I suggested someone with a beautifully creative approach who immediately understood the look they were hoping to achieve. Seeing everything come together on the day was such a lovely reminder that finding the right supplier is all about finding the right fit.

We also organised guest transport from Benitses, ensuring everyone arrived comfortably and on time so the celebrations could unfold without a hitch.

As the afternoon turned into evening, Ekaterini Estate came to life. The atmosphere became even more magical as the sun began to set, guests filled the gardens with laughter, glasses were topped up, speeches were shared, and the dance floor stayed busy well into the night. These are always my favourite moments; when months of planning quietly fade into the background and all that's left is pure celebration.

Now, I'll admit... this was certainly one of those weddings that started with the sunrise and finished long after the stars had appeared. Days like these are exactly why I love being a wedding planner here in Corfu. Watching everything come together, seeing our couples completely relaxed, and knowing they were able to enjoy every single moment without worrying about what was happening behind the scenes is exactly what it's all about.
