I absolutely LOVE a wedding planning challenge, particularly when it involves finding a couple their perfect venue, and this was certainly the case for Vlada & Alex, who travelled all the way from Canada to celebrate their wedding here on our glorious emerald island!
We spent time researching and visiting different venues on their behalf, carefully considering their guest numbers, their requirements and, of course, their budget. I eventually suggested the beautiful Niki Sunrise Apartments in Gastouri, which ticked all the boxes for both accommodating their guests and hosting their wedding celebrations. Now... I have known about this beautiful venue for some time now, and I have seen their potential for hosting weddings! And so with little bit of persistence, I was absolutely delighted when they agreed to host weddings. Sometimes you just know a venue has so much potential, and this place boasts sea views and Mediterranean charm - I couldn't wait to introduce it to Vlada & Alex! And with no surprise, they absolutely fell in love with the venue immediately!!
Once we had found their perfect setting, it was time to bring all the different elements of their wedding day together. For the catering, we sourced a lovely company that suited both their budget and the style of celebration they had in mind. They wanted something that felt relaxed and sociable, so we went for delicious Greek family-style sharing plates, giving everyone the chance to enjoy a taste of the local cuisine and tuck in together. I absolutely love this style of dining for a destination wedding in Corfu; it brings such a lovely atmosphere to the table!
And of course, we wanted to make sure the celebrations carried on beautifully into the evening. We suggested a budget-friendly post-bar service, which was a great fit for the couple and gave the evening a slightly different feel. It's mobile set-up added another little dimension to the celebrations, and it was a lovely way for guests to keep enjoying themselves long after dinner.
For the ceremony, we suggested a beautiful white carpet runner to create a grand entrance for Vlada, giving her that special walk down the aisle. It's one of those little details that can make such a difference to the overall look and feel of a ceremony, and I think it worked wonderfully with the setting!
The flowers were another important part of bringing their vision to life. We helped select a florist who was the right fit for the couple, and worked closely with them to make sure everything looked just as it should. We also made sure that the flowers didn't simply have their moment during the ceremony and then disappear! After the ceremony, we repositioned them around the venue so they could be enjoyed again throughout the celebrations. I always love finding ways to make the most of the beautiful details we've arranged, particularly when they can be repurposed to create an impact elsewhere.
Lighting was another element we took care of, from the initial on-site consultations through to overseeing the set-up the evening before the wedding. It's something that can completely transform a space, particularly as the sun goes down and the evening celebrations begin. Getting everything in place ahead of the big day meant we could make sure the venue looked just as beautiful once the evening arrived.
Onto the music! We suggested a live band that we felt would be perfectly suited to the couple and the atmosphere they wanted to create, as well as helping arrange the best set-up for their celebrations. We also organised DJ services to complement the band and make sure the music carried on in a way that suited the evening. I always think having a lovely balance of live music and a DJ works so well; it gives the celebrations a real sense of occasion whilst keeping everyone on the dance floor!
And of course, we couldn't forget the styling and set-up! We coordinated the ceremony and reception tables, making sure everything was in place and that all the little details came together beautifully. From the ceremony entrance to the reception space, it was all about creating a setting that felt welcoming, special and just right for Vlada & Alex and their guests.
Our couple had sourced their chosen photographer, and wow, what a gallery!! We couldn't recommend them enough.
From researching and securing their perfect venue to coordinating the catering, floristry, lighting, entertainment and styling, we loved helping Vlada & Alex bring their wedding vision to life. Being able to take care of all those behind-the-scenes details meant they could relax, enjoy their time here in Corfu and celebrate with all their favourite people without having to worry about what was happening next!
Vlada & Alex, thank you for choosing our beautiful island for such a special celebration, and for trusting us to bring your vision to life. It was an absolute pleasure helping you bring it all together, and we wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!

You helped ease my nerves and took so many of the difficult and stressful parts of wedding planning onto your shoulders — and you did it all beautifully.
Not only are you and Keith incredible professionals, but you are also truly wonderful human beings. We feel so lucky to have had you both be such an important part of our wedding.
